Traditional Arts

We are so excited to be working again with our Respected School Elder Mrs Drygeese.

Students  and staff are KTW are each working to design and sew their own pair of Moccasins. During this special time, students also work to practice the Dene laws and language.

Children in the younger grades will be assisted by older students, which is a truly authentic way to build on the leadership skills of these students.

Students are quite proud of their projects so far, and so they should be! Their patience, commitment, and careful attention to detail will pay off when they wear their new creations.
